hey lads
i was thinking about takeing a trip down towards wexford/waterford next month. were stil not sure if we are going yet or not but would love to. i would love to get a bass as i have never got one! my cousin is comeing over from the states and would like to bring him. hes a member of this site his name is nick! would anyone have any info about marks fishing well and what tactics to use etc. ( i no there is a bass closed season but we were thinking about going down after it opens again)

Chris make sure you have loads of peeler wit ya to give yourself a good chance of getin your first bass.

Quite a few but not in Waterford :(
You can get both from a few beaches in wexford. Myself and Barry Murphy fished rosslare point last week and Barry's first cast landed him a double. Bass on the top hook and smoothound on the bottom. 8)

I was thinking of a different session. It was a double shot of bass on that one. 8)

Smoothhound sure are slow this year so far dont ya think? Nothing down this way yet only tinnnnyyy pups..... Hopefully in the next few weeks should see a good run of them.
