Tsunami Disaster Fund.

Is there anyone out there interested in organising a 24hour sponsored fishing marathon in various regions around Ireland to raise money for this very deserving cause.

As far as I know one of the Wexford sea angling clubs ran a similar event a few years ago to raise cash for a local cause and raised a lot of money.
Sorry I.m not in a position to do something myself.
Entries now open for the Henry's Tackle Shop All Ireland Shore Smooth Hound Championships on July 18h hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Kilmore Sea Angling Club are in the process of organising a similar event, we hope to have more details in the next few days. We were the Wexford club that ran a 24 hour fishaton a couple of years ago and we had a terific response from the public.
This is a very worthy cause and Im sure there are anglers out there that are willing to get involved.
