soft wire hooks do more damage?!

#1 Post by m.b3 »

looking for opinions on this lads. have found they can bend when putting sideward pressure on the shank making removing the hook a more awkward affair, whilst hooks with stronger wire come out quicker and cleaner. what yee think?

How are you mark. Have you dried out yet? Id agree that the stiffer hooks come out cleaner from a lip hooked fish but if you deep hook the fish I find it easier to remove the fine wire hooks.
I require a tremendous amount of calcium

The Kamasan B940m hooks are fine wire but also have good strength for there size making them relatively easy to take out.
