little bird told me a few mackerel caught on spinners at ballganon was down kilcoole on sun and the birds where going crazy diving on bait fish or sand eels looks like summers here early

fished south beach on saturday and in the 2 hours we were there 6-8 lads were spinning and plugging around the river - so definatly something in that...also seen a good sized sea trout(5-6lb) jump on 5 mile point on saturday.

Was doing a bit of spinning down at the stream last night at high tide,conditions were perfect but nothing was happening,still think it way to early for Mackerel down there.
