wicklow/wexford bass venue

goin bass fishing on the 18/4, was thinking the the big spring tide and north easterly would throw up a bass on the east coast :?: ,have heard of 6lb bass being caught in simalar tides and winds at courtown 3 weeks ago. any suggestions lads :?: CHEERS!

Closed season on bass is May 15th. to June 15th inc.

You are correct. I had a nice session last Wed at Kilmore with three mates, 9 Schoolies and 1 keeper of 3.5 lbs(47 cm). all were caught on lug, from mid tide to about 1 hour before high tide, and only 60-90 feet out.

nope, just lug and some mackerel

Mack didn't get a bite, and all of the fish were caught on the lower hook on the rigs.
