hey pookie i have the orginal conolon and its basically the same as the conolon xodus and i tell ya now its abu best rod in my opinion its a good all rounder and its got alot of guts cause its proved itself on many ocassions by that i mean big conger and for distance...very good bite detection it will pick up the smallest of bites even at distance and works the best with a 5oz...in my opinion a absolute belter of a rod
