Rossnowlagh Beach 7/12/04

Club Comp. (Donegal Bay S.A.C.) 10 anglers. 7pm to 11pm h/t at 8.30pm
bait mackerel, lug rag sandeel and some limpets by one angler.
Flounder, Dogs, Turbet. and a lot of whiting only two making the mark of 300cm. Bait that seemed to work the best for flounder . Log tipped with mackerel. rag tipped the same or mackerel alone. Dogs mackerel. sand eel did not work well

I was booked up to go to Kenya in January for some big game fishing, but I think I'll head to Rossnowlagh instead.....

Some mighty big whiting thereabouts! :D

I agree.
Rossnowlagh is Infamous, Im from the other side of the Country and even Ive heard of it.

Hello Tanglerat Bit of a change from Kenya To Rossnowlagh. The fish may not be as big but they are plentiful.

Hello k2extreme. I have fished Ballycastle and Glenariff or Waterfoot a most beautiful part
