has anybody used one, bought one today for rough ground fishing

I never owned one but i had a few casts with one before along with the enigma south, cracking rods.

ya seems very nice indeed,seems quite stiff, do ya know if it was designed for rough ground

I have the Enigma, bought it for rock fishing in Kerry and find it excellant. It can cast but I generally team it with a slosh and 30lb straight through and use it close in. Plenty of bullying power with a fixed reel seat.

well the lads said it is a rock rod and can manage 175g with 2baits with ease.

There were a few problems early on with tips snapping. Never seen one for a while.

fished with mine last friday and had no problem handling a 5oz lead and a whole joey mack. also sits very nicely in th tide which is a bonus.
