doughmore beach, west clare 15/3/7

Duration:3hrs

Tide:1.5 hrs either side of full

Weather:like summer. a lot of surf

Bait:fresh lug, frozen sandeel

Rigs:3 hook flapper

Results:5 flounder around 1lb

Catch and Release:: Yes/No



Report:

apparently a 13.5 bass was caught here in march, so this was the target :lol:
got 5 flounder. took both sandeel and lug. Took snoods with beads and without

I always fish in the suds because i can only cast that far. (is there anyone in dublin that could give me casting tutition?) There was surf breaking for a long distance out from the beach.

I walked 100 meters to the right of the golf club. Not sure why i picked there
