Anyone fished Newcastle beach Co Wicklow recently? Thinking about giving it a shot over the weekend

no i have fished kilcoole a few times since christmas with good results including a bass but to tell you the truth u need a bit of surf on them to liven things up and i dont think the weather is going to help between now and the weekend the day i caught the bass the water was like chocolate from a storm the day before :cry:

Hi Paulie, I fish Newcastle beach regularly with great results! Bass are plentiful and a few flatties are guaranteed! Rag or lug is best!But and theres always a but, if the winds are any way strong avoid this spot as sea weed ruins fishing. Hopes this helps
