HELP can this be fixed

OUCH MAN! :? that is a pain in the H**e,

Dont know if it can be fixed...hopefully someone else with more experience can shed some light on it!!!

The simple answer is yes, but it will never have the same qualities again. Probably better off getting a new tip if possible.

If it was a boat rod you might have some chance in doing it, but for a beach caster the pressures of casting are too great, and you can never repair it. use it as an excuse to get a shiny new rod... lol.
Ps i have done this to 2 Zziplex rods, one casting and one with the car boot so I know how you feel.

buy one the exact same, return to shop 2 days later with reciet,say look what happened,get refund, you now have it "fixed" twice :lol: :roll: :roll:

its a fairly clean break, you could probably splice it and glue and whip it. as said already it will never be the same again for casting but might do the job for dropping down the side of piers and such
