Penn Powerstick Rods: Are they any good???

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Penn Powerstick Rods: Are they any good???

#1 Post by MackDublin »

I saw a site with these for sale, buy one get one free. I was looking at the Penn Powerstick Giller Thriller and a Powerstick 12 - 20lb class rod in this range. You can get both for 65stg + P&P.

Is this a good price for good action rods or a good price for crap action rods?

Rod

I could have sworn I replied to this post yesterday!
I have used a Penn Tuff Stick 12-20 rod. A lovely rod. The only thing I wasn't gone on was the handle. I'm not sure if the blanks are the same but if they are the power stick so do the business

Hi Jim,

You did reply thanks, I also posted this message in the other forum Boat Fishing.
I'm not sure if its the same blank, Penn seem to have a different rod out every other month.

I just thooght for the money if the blanks are any way decent you couldn't go wrong.
