cod fishing from the shore in cahirciveen area

Just wondering could anyone tell me were i can catch cod from the shore in the cahirciveen area and what is the best method/bait. Can they be caught this time of year. Are white feathers any good.

Try Hogs head or culloo head with crab. We used to get loads down in st finans in october off the beach when it wasnt too rough but they dont seem to have been around the last few years.

Dingle also has some marks especially in the ballyferriter area.....
