got one at the weekend, very light and slim feels ok, have to go to Belfast on day off so if anyone has used this rod whats it like to fish with and did you put shrink warp on it?

sure there is already shrink wrap on the butt on all the AA rods?apart from the estuary?

even with big hands, with the smaller diameter butt, it will give you more room around the reel to get a tighter grip around it.should be a nice all round setup for the beaches wih the 525mag, good luck with it MC

used the AA match at the weekend and must say I was highly impressed it showed up bites from small fish no bother and was easy to cast, it hauled in weed and had power to spare, once again I am impressed
