went fishing the estuary for the low tide in waterford with barry murphy.. (getting there was fun
)barry started off with a nice little plaice and followed it with a flounder..
it was looking like i was going to blank.. so i took a leaf out of drews book and went scratching.. caught a freshwater eel and a flounder...
and barry finished up with another flounder...
(then there was the ride back out to tramore.. floatation suites make good motorbike jackets
)met up with a few people in tramore and went drinkin..
(high tide wasnt till 12:30am.. time enough for a few pints)fished the slip and caught a codling on the first cast on ragworm.. then on the last cast(2:45am) caught a small coalie..
