its obvious 2 most experienced anglers..but 4 those who dont know...its an easily broke away clip 4 the lead on the end of ur rig... a cheap and easily found rotten bottom is a paper clip...cheap and easily broken away...great 4 rough ground fishing

Would a paper clip not tend to open under the preasure of a cast or do you only use them for short lobs.?

Yeah, thinl it wold just be for in close with rocks etc under ur feet.u

i would only use the paper clip for under u rfeet fishing..ideal for trigger fish or wrasse...foul ground specialists
