Bellview Port...Waterford 23-12-06

#1 Post by James Barry »

People:Myself and a friend

Duration:3 hours

Tide:Fished up to high water

Weather:Calm freezing cold night

Bait:Lugworm

Rigs:One hook clipped down

Results:4 cod, 5 flounder, 1 whiting

Catch and Release:: Yes/No

Report:For the people who dont know this spot its a 10 minute drive from the city twards new ross. We fished up to high water the only problem was it was so bloody cold. I caught the first cod of the night it was 3lbs but it went a bit downhill after that the rest of the cod were very small, the flounder were a good size..good fun when the cod decided to head off. got a very small whiting aswell.
