impact shields
ive run out of impact leads so gonna make up a few pulley rigs with impact shhield bait clips. how do these stand up to power casting, is it safe to use them in this sense
shore species 2008(25):dogfish(3.1lbs), bull huss (12lb 2oz), bass, shore rockling, coalie, whiting, pollack, conger (22.4lbs),flounder, thick lipped mullet (4.8lbs),turbot,ling (11.2lbs),ballan wrasse(4.5lbs), cuckoo wrasse, pouting, poor cod, cod (9.5lbs), dab, 3 bearded rockling, long spined scorpion fish, corkwing wrasse, plaice, trigger fish, sea trout, garfish

i'm really jst wondering is there any chance of breaking with power casting, i'l be using them on a pulley rig so there would be alot of force travelling through them

Never had a problem with impact sheilds. The only issue I've had is that I used to use micro beads but these can get forced throgh the slot on the shield and are a bugger to fix, so use a decent size bead with it.
