Fished far side of clonea with little success - lots of little bites which came to nothing - got two decent sized coalies on lug tipped with razor. - not much surf - water getting clearer but still a little cloudy - no weed ( thank god )

Reckon its gonna be far side of christmas before i get out again - family and all that joy

Got to use my new 525 mag today - flies like a dream - still on full mag setting till I get used to it (first time using a multiplier) -
No birdies today ......Things are looking good!!!!

Cod are scarce around here - heard of a few decent sized ones got around the coal docks in youghal lately
