FLOATING BEADS?

AT MY LAST OUTING I USED FLOATING BEADS AND WHEN I REELED IN I FOUND I HAD SOME BAIT LEFT THAT CRABS DIDNT ROB?YHEY WORK LIKE A JEM 4 ME 8)

ear plugs are good also. the ones I get my hands on a dayglow orange and look the part. cut in half (or use whole if you want). they can be slid over the hook at any stage, so they can be added during a session when needed.

Would a peice of dense foam work as well?

Try a piece of cork placed on the snood with a baiting needle. Trap using rig tubing as stop knots by passing the line through a small of the tubing twice.

Mac,

bucket + water, chuck in a piece of dense foam, if it floats it will work even better in sea water :lol: .

Nice tip about the ear-plugs Jon. We have bucket loads here at work and just for fun I threw one into the toilet - after several fierce flushes, it was still there!! Not that I usually go looking into toilets mind!!!
