Having our xmass club comp here next week does anyone know anything about the venue i know the river use to b great for flounder but were fishing the beach so any info would be appreciated cheers.

when you get to the beach ya gotta walk left till you get to whats called the monkey pole its a white pole you cant miss it thats the best place to fish there plenty of whiting,,,dogs,,,flats,, odd chance of a codling and a few coalies in close at night

thanks for that always handy to have a little knowledge of a fishing ground,we use to fish in on the left as you cross the bridge think there was a factory or big building of some sort and the strectch behind it use to produce big flounder im going back a long time my mother had a 44cm flounder out of there the club only stopped fishing it because it wasnt really suitable for pegging out for comps,anyhow thanks i will post report after fishing next week.
