I would highly recommend the kilty lure for spinning for bass, I had 24 bass one evening during the summer on these lures. In my opinion they give the best chance of catching bass.
the actual lure in the link is not that similar to the kilty lure that i use, im not sure where to get it on-line, i buy mine from murphys tacle shop in wexford.
The majority of the bass I've caught have been to silver kilty lures. Their a killer when bass are feeding on small sand eel. The lure looks funny on the web site because the picture has been warped. Click on the image and you'll see what their supposed to look like.
i have a very limited knowledge of spinning for bass but i used the kilty lure whilst on holiday in clonakilty :) a few years back and it is unbelievably good. remember one night spinning into the estuary on inchedoney beach and caught loads of them it would have been harder to catch a mackerel that day!
i have all the colours of reflective strips on them, silver, red, green , blue, gold etc, does anyone have a preference on which one of these is the best?
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

I wont go spinning for bass without at least 4 green ones with me. I bring 4 as i use them dangerously and can loose a few per session but they are a savage lure for bass. They do tend to take smaller fish on average but I nearly always try a kilty lure for my first couple of casts to see whats about. I have a few pics of bass caught on them in my Kerry post not so long ago.

Dumb and confused!
Drop into an tackle shop, they should have them.
I tend to get most of my stuff from Viking in Bray. For a small enough shop they have some selection of gear.
