Winter bassing in Antrin/Derry/Donegal

Is it worth my while?

Was thinking of hitting the likes of Culdaff and Benone/Downhill in the coming months in search of my first ever bass.

Would I be wasting my time?

Also willing to travel down to Sligo I suppose if there are fish there, maybe as far as Kilalla Bay direction, or anywhere in the North.
