Report: Fished far side of Clonea in front of steps - arrived late and tide had already turned with an hour - average surf but plenty of it - started with the sandeel - Nothin doing - changed over to the razor - got a hit after 15 mins on the razor - wasnt even at the rod
- was at the car getting my wetjacket when I looked down at the tripod, the rod was going nuts - all but poleaxed myself running down the steps to get to it. This is only my second bass ever ( first one caught with the mighty Cortaz
- spinning a kilty lure in the cunnigar).Im well chuffed with myself
- have been baitfishin' 7 times over last two weeks and not even a nibble - was startin to think I was doing something wrong 
Any way - gonna try this spot again during the week - tide time are good for mornings/lunchtime all week - suits work etc.
