camp site for fishing.

Hi all iam looking a safe family campsite in the south of ireland or donegal.

Some were i can fish and family are safe to camp. Want to do a few marks so any of the named marks in the forums that are on or near a camp site.

Donegal--kerrkeel/portsolan/downings all have camp sites within 40 mins of letterkenny

The Trading Post Wexford great site and approx 10 mins drive from Blackwater beach and Wexford town. 8 euro per tent plus 5 euro per adult
I thought about the one that got away and it did

trading post looks good is there pleanty to do for the wife and kids as not into fishing.

Also what sort of fishing good for the area rock/beach spin or beachcast.

dunno mate but the word 'bass' coes to mind :D

Try http://www.camping-ireland.ie/caravan-p ... .php?id=79, Doolin - plenty of alternative entertainment for wife/kids (Make Absolutely sure you visit the Great Stalagtite in Doolin Cave - AMAZING!), Great Fishing nearby - 5 mins walk from site to Doolin Rocks - makerel, Pollock etc. and plenty of Wrasse to amuse the kids (just drop in a couple of rag worm and keep them just above bottom - or use float. Had a great weekend there June Bank Hoiliday camping with 5 kids - all boys who naturally reverted to animals in 48 hours, everyone caught so great debate re Biggest, smallest, toughest, most unusual weird fish etc etc etc :lol:
