Leeda riptide bass rod

#1 Post by Donagh »

The Leeda riptide bass rod is an 11 and 1/2 foot surf rod and is as light as a feather and a joy to use. It can be easily held for hours at a time and casts 2 to 4 oz weights and can be used with a multliplier or FS. It has an easy action that allows soft baits to be cast but I have found a 4oz weight heavy going. Bite detection for 5 oz whiting buzzs straight into the hand and I've pulled up an 8lb conger over rough ground with it. Take note of the sinker rating as it won't cast a 1oz lure very far. My main complaint is I haven't caught a bass with it yet and spent 140 euros on it when a bloke in the club got his for 48 euros at a fishing exhibition that I should of went to.
