Old line

#1 Post by danceswithwolves »

Hi,
I have recently replacing the line on my reel and was wondering what to do with the old stuff. Can it be recycled? Is there a environmentally friendly way to dispose of it?

The best way to dispose of it safely is to burn it.

If you are just binning it, make sure to cut into into very small lengths first. A ball of tangled up line, sent to the city dump, is still a danger for seagulls etc that are rooting through the rubbish.
