People:Me

Duration: 8pm till 11pm

Tide: high before 11pm

Weather: Settled with misty rain

Bait:Sand eel and rag

Rigs: mainly 1 down 2 up

Results: many double shots of dogs, dabs, whiting to 6ozs and a tiny shark.

Report:Caught a doggy on my first cast. Then a shoal of dabs came in but my hooks and bait were to large to hook up that many. After that I had whiting and dogs. Only had one treble shot of two dogs and a whiting until it switched over to only double shots of dogs. Secound rod had long up and over for ray that picked up tiny dogs and the small shark which I wasn't sure whther it was a tope or a smooth hound. Gave up after 11pm as I had no key to get home and I hate fishin on my own in the dark. Most fish were close in and to sand eel.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
