People:myelf

Duration:10.00am-3.00pm

Tide:rising tide

Weather:sunny and warm till the last hour when it drunk down

Bait:frozen sandeel, mussel and redgill rubber eels

Rigs:sliding float

Results:3 pollock, best just over 2lb

Report:seems i'm becoming a bit of a resident down here, but the fishing was very hard going. i fought i may have picked a good pollock up on the frozen sandeel on the sliding float but they weren't interested. had better luck with the mussel, had a few takes but missed them! then i hit into my targeted fish, a nice pollock just under the pound mark. bites dried up on the float so i decided to work the bottom with a redgill rubber sandeel. which i am glad i did, caught 2 pollock and one was just over the 2lb mark, lovely! having to work hard at orlock at the mo for the fish. i hope august and september will fish better.

Hi, I was at orlock myself today. Glad you had better luck than me. There from 1 th 4 pm and no luck float or bottom fishing, but got 1 small pollack and lost 1 on a spinner. thankfull the rain lasted only 10 mins, put the waterproofs on, then straight back off as the sun came back. Cheers
