Seeking boat charter with mates

#1 Post by jamie »

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good skipper and boat for a days fishing. Me, the bro and four mates were looking to get out on a Fri or Sat in August. Sean McKay in Ballycastle is booked up until the end of Oct and Michael McVeigh up in Donegal is booked until start of November. I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere around the North / West / South East. No disrespect to the South West folk but its just too far to travel. Any info would be much appreciated.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Check out (Kilmore Quay)

There's a few dates showing available in August (Friday's), Eamonn is a great skipper and we use him a lot. If not he might be able to put you in contact with some of the other skippers.

Trevor Ryder out of Downings on Bonito Charters, as recommended by a happy crew of SAI regulars. :D

Try the charters out of Rathmullan [2 boats]. Give Angela a call on 00353 87 2480132 to see about the availability of either of the boats. I would guess that there might be a friday free.
