we are casting this Sunday the 26th, hope to see you there.

today looked so good on paper with light rain and a 20mph northwest wind, so we set the court up in the lower field to try and maximize the wind. Now here's the kicker we did get light rain but it a 20mph+ wind straight across the court. This meant loads of line out left so reels where slowed down and a practice day was called. We did our best in the conditions and the four members who turned up stuck with heavy leads to combat the strong side wind. As you can probably guess distances where down and no one wanted to record a cast. So before the heavy rain set in we packed up early and headed home, until next time and we hope the weather is in our favor then.

the weather wasn't going to be on our side today with light rain and a breeze blowing southwest until 2pm then change to northwest. So the three members who turned up soon had the court set up in the upper field to try and make the most of the wind before it changed. It was good to see the return of Benny who's work patterns had kept him away. Anyhow after a damp start and a few crack offs we soon got into the swing of things, there was no breeze just still air but we managed a couple of decent casts. This is where it all went bad and the wind came earlier and changed direction so it was in our faces, it also brought a dense fog so you couldn't see the court, so with this we packed up and went home which was good as the heavens opened with heavy rain. No distances where recorded as the range finder couldn't pierce the fog but all leads where around the 190- 210 yard mark.
