Hi all
Bought a smuggler 6 which packs down inside a Ryanair case and have persuaded the better half that I can go fishing whilst she does the walking on the boardwalks around Porto. Linking up with "TheHookFella" off youtube so hope to have a bit of inside knowledge to help me along, although his videos are excellent and very clearly demonstrate where he is fishing. Apparnetly end of August is prime top water lure fishing, so hope to have a few bass (lots of schoolies there) and maybe add a few species to this list. River has a lot of Twaite Shad, so no Saint Mullins next year!
If anyone has any recommendations on lures for the area, or would be willing to share a few marks between Porto and Varzim, i.e. on the train, please PM me, will port a report on my return.
