Estuary fishing

Hi lads , just looking for some general info on bait fishing estuary I’ve tried fishing in the channels but finding the run to strong and get weeded out of it tried rosscarbery and ring would I be right saying should I be fishing out of main channels looking to find a gilt or at the mouth of the estuary’s appreciate any info

With ring, if the green weed is around, fish over low water to maybe 2 hours up after that it’s a waste of time. Pick your tide swell, I normally try to fish it on the smaller side tides.
But again if the weed is there it can make it unfishable.

Roscarbery is very similar fish over the slacker parts of the tide to minimise the pull
