Copper Coast - a bit of help please

#1 Post by shortcircuit »

Hi lads, I do very little sea fishing now as I have moved inland and am mainly trout fishing, but I will be down in Co.Waterford on Sunday and I'd love to do a bit of bass fishing. I'll be in the Tramore area so the copper coast marks are accessible. It's well known, but I never actually fished there, all my bass fishing was in east Cork and Cork harbour. I'd be very grateful if someone could give me a pointer on where to hit.

I will be fishing the late morning and the early afternoon, so basically the second half of the ebb. If I was fishing the start of the flood, I would definitely be thinking about hitting an estuary, but I'm not certain whether to try a more open mark for the main run of tide.

General pointers welcome here, and of course more specific information is welcome on DM.

All information treated with utmost discretion - I fish alone and I never divulge other people's marks to others.

Thanks in advance lads
