Fished a North Wexford beach Saturday night, just before the weather closed in. First up was a schoolie bass then a flounder a cast, not much size to them though.
Conditions got tougher as the evening progressed, very hard to hold the bottom as Storm Ashley started to make its presence felt. Decided to keep things simple, went down to one rod, pully baited with big rag baits and hope for a decent bass, shortly after landed a nice fat bass, about 60cms. At this stage the wind had really started to pick up, fish were still showing but we decided to pack up.
