Kayak repair

#1 Post by saving private brian »

Hi All

I am aiming to repair my abandoned kayak that has been damaged by lack of looking after.. In the bait well in the back, there is a split/crack in the vertical wall of the bait well

It is not the worst place to have damage but i want to still get it patched up before launching this summer.. The hull, and everything else is perfect bar a good cleaning

Is there a kit i can buy like fiberglass that is water tight that i can lay mats over the damaged area

I will try upload a picture in a bit

Regards
Brian

Something like this? You'd want to check the specs but Teroson tend to have a decent solution to most. (They used be Plastic Padding... or they bought them or something :) )
It looks a serious repair kit.
