East Cork or Waterford Sunday 30th October

#1 Post by shortcircuit »

Hi folks hope you are all keeping well. Haven't been out sea fishing in an absolute age, but have an opportunity to fish the ebb tide tomorrow night. I was hoping for a steer from you good people as to where might be a good spot to fish. Am thinking a beach mark as opposed to estuary seeing as we have the big tides and even bigger amounts of freshwater pushing through.

Would love a chance at a ray, codling or mixed species. Obviously would love a chance at a sliver spiny fella too if it was on. As I am so long out of the game, I don't really know where to try so am looking for a steer. The entire coast from Cork Harbour to Waterford is open to me!

Would be very grateful for a steer, either on the thread or on PM if you are cagey

Happy to join someone for a session too.

Thanks lads

I'd say it'll be tough going. There's been no break from the winds for the last two weeks. There had been a build up of weed before then, so its probably worse now.
