Can't recommend one in Cobh unfortunately, Halfway Angling is the best. Website www.tackledirectireland.ie is only part of what he has in stock.

Halfway isnt far from cobh, well worth the drive out as the website doesn't do the store justice. I find it's best to go in with a list otherwise you'll walk out with a big bag and forget what you went in for.

There used to be a guy in Cloyne who did tackle and had great bait including live crabs. I don't know if he's still on the go...

There is a sports shop in Midleton that does some fishing gear bait and things like that

If your passing through Mallow on your way to cobh there is a shop on the main street across from BOI. Again has a decent range of gear and frozen bait.
