People:Myself and the missus

Duration:20.30 - 3.00 am

Tide: HT 2.30 AM or around that time.

Weather:Fine,bit misty later on.

Bait:Rag,Mackerel

Rigs:1 up and down,paternoster

Results:60 Dogs  , some small whiting, some small cod.

Report:

Dogs were a nuisance to be honest, the first couple were ok then they just kept coming,2 at a time, every cast, better than blanking I suppose but getting the hooks out can be a bit tricky and they really swallow the hook.Disappointed not to see any flatties.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Sessions like that make me wonder if dogs are cannibals......

Haven't tried using one as bait, though I've been tempted on a few occasions.
