Fresh Bait Limerick

Any recommendations for good fresh bait in the limerick area? I'm going to be passing through on friday heading for the south side of the Shannon and wouldn't mind having a bit of rag or crab in addition to the frozen stuff.

Shannon side baits man, has good eel and frozen peeler but you will not get live baits in any shops.
Catch, release, reminisce & repeat

2020:Bass, Sea Trout, Pollock, Mackerel, Grey Gurnard, Dab, Conger, and the elusive LSD.

Many thanks! Certainly won't say no to either of those, not delighted with the frozen sandeel I have so will call in.

you wouldnt have a number for shannon side baits - just want to know a few days in advance if i need to pre order - thanks

It's a bit out of the way but Anglers Curse for frozen. As mentioned fresh sea bait is not to be found here :cry:
