Swilly

Finally got out to wet a line, headed to the local beach and landed a nice 8lb ray 2nd cast. This was followed by a another smaller ray. The fishing slowed down over low water but once the tide started to pull I hooked a doggie. After another hour I quit this mark as weed became a big problem. I move onto a pier another 10 minute drive to continue to fish. I was plagued by doggies landing 15 of them but did manage another ray at 6lb. I called it quits after watching the sun come up, fishing itch well and truly scratched.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
