When: 26/04/2020
Where: Just past the beach but still on the main road there is a wall where the water comes right in at high tide with a decent gully within casting distance. It's basically where the beach meets the rocks. Decided to fish here so I could sit in the car and watch for bites.
Duration: 00:00-03:30
Hide Water: 02:10
Bait: Lug tipped with frozen mackerel on 2 hook paternoster.
Result: Blank
Got to the spot just after midnight, was hoping for a flatfish or bass, I read that fishing off where the beach meets rocky area can be very productive and with the other end of this beach being a well known bass mark I thought I would catch something for sure. I did have some gards spectating for a while, probably bored as hell as there was absolutely nobody around. They left without saying hello after about 15 mins. So I was changing baits every 30 mins and at about 3.30am I ran out of worms and decided to pack it in and go home empty handed yet again. Until next time!
