Aran Islands

#1 Post by Sponge Bob »

Heading over to Inis Mór for an overnight on Saturday. Have room for the spinning rod and wondering if there is anywhere in particular have the possibility of a few fish or is the pier the only/best option. Thanks

Fished there a few times. Around the port is very shallow and never got anything there. If you follow the road to the bottom of the island and walk about 20mins along the coast you will come to a ledge between the 2 islands where the locals fish. Ive always had mack there but never tried for anything else. Its very deep with a good tide run. The locals should be able to direct u.
