This is the way most people seem do it:

Binding it well down and keepIng the hook point exposed. Pretty straight forward

tis an awful violent death, legs and arms pulled off, shell pulled off then cut in half. thanks bitta __ they cant talk :cry: :) #savethecrabs :P

Ah tis pretty much what i have been doing, just needed a bit of confirmation that it was fairly right.
