2016 Species: Thornback ray, Bass,Dogfish, Pollock, Coalie, Whiting, Cod, Flounder, Smooth hound, Sea trout, shore tope, shore Anglerfish, Scad, Mackeral,Ballan Wrasse,Goldsinny Wrasse, Tompot Blenny,Goby,Pouting,Poor cod.

I can't answer your question about when the Tope arrive into Strangford Lough, but I have fished for them just off the mouth of the Lough in September/October time and caught the occasional big female one.
