was in woodstown, creadon, passage area this evening went for a paddle in the kayak to a point and back on the way back there was fish jumping out of the water not to high just enough to leave the surface and some rooting in the weed right on the edge of coastline couple of inches of water but when i was putting yaks back in the van it was like a frenzy in the same area close to 15 fish making a good disturbance on the surface whats your ideas mullet or sea trout goin for flies light was just fading or was it hungry bass

I've seen fish activity just like that in the waterford estuary, although I've never heard of sea trout or mullet in this area before.
Perhaps it was sea trout?

Edit: now that I think of it, I once saw a few bass jumping when i was at a beach in the estuary

Bass I presume - I have seen bait fish beach themselves - like flying out of the water - when bass come upon a shoal of them. Usually when I have a bait out 40 yards mind you!

Highly likely it was mullet.
