Majorcraft Skyroad Surf SKR962

#1 Post by bazza85g »

Hi Guys,

Any opinions on the above rod? I like the length and also the 5-28g rating as I want to use it for Sea Trout in Mayo and also Bass in West Cork.

Cheers,

Barry

Seemingly a top class rod, I never really heard a bad word about major craft rods.

There has been a fair bit of grumbling online about some of the Major Craft rods snapping without much reason. I know many anglers have snapped Major Craft Truzers. I have heard of a couple of Skyroads too but not sure of the models. The anglers got little or no satisfaction from the manufacturer/dealer. They cannot be all "Operator Error".

If I was spending my money I think I'd look to some other make rather than tempting fate!
