DIY Tripod Tray solutions

Earlier in the year I was fishing a really shallow beach and had to keep moving down the beach every 15-20 minutes. It was a real pain because I had to move the tripod and the rods and then go back and get my seat box so I would have my bait, bait board, knife, rigs etc.

What would be a handy job would be a way of keeping a few essentials with the tripod while I left the big box back up the beach. I know you can hang a bucket off the hook but I would prefer something a bit wider and shallower.
To this end I have been playing around with a tray and some velcro straps and came up with the result shown in the pic attached. Basically I cut slots in the tray and fed velcro straps through the slots and secured them round the legs of the tripod
It's actually not too bad a job the tray will take the weight of a small board plus a few other bits and pieces. However I think it might be a little awkward to move the tripod once its set up.

Does anyone else have any good solutions for this? I know there are hammock-type things that you can buy but I feel like going the DIY route!

I know you want to do a DIY job but they haven't really worked for me in the past so I purchased a tripod tray from breakaway in the UK, cost me around 25 euro in total when I got it delivered via parcel motel within the 5 days. Working well for me, you can clip off the tray and put in your box when not in use. One thing I did do was drill a hole in the base for drainage.

A bucket hanging from the centre of tri pod. I tryed a lot of other ideas but the bucket works the best for me.

I know they might be more orientated towards the match angler but the likes of the stonfo baitstation might be an option.Depending on what type of tripod you use some can have the station clipped onto the tripod.Also some decent stuff from Turkana where you have a monopod ,workstation combo.Yuki have similar.Dont forget that even the old Ian Golds bait trays are still available but are pricey for what they are especially when you can get a "seed"tray in most garden centres which are basically the same thing.

Buy a leg rod rest piece take off the rod holder bit drill into the kitty litter tray and then put the bolt thats ment to hold the rod holder piece on threw the tray with a washer an the thumb screw on it and its just like 1 you would buy

Google ian golds tripod leg its the rod holder piece you just screw off the rod holder then drill a hole in the side of your tray put the thumb screw on it and you can slide it up and down the tripod leg then
