Have you tried local harbours? Fish the seaward side over snaggy ground with a weedless setup. Dawn and dusk is best time and try both low and high tide. Fishing tends to be good this time of year but my experience is that lrf can be pretty fruitless during the winter.

The Coal [FISH] quay is ideal for LRF, I got loads of different species there, check out some of the old posts on www.lurefish-ireland.com
