Hi anyone fished this beach recently, organising a day trip down east coast for end of month and was thinking of trying this beach, alot of the reports say Wicklow beaches dont produce? I would Normally fish Wexford beaches for smoothhounds and Bass. I might just head towards Courtown if Wicklow beaches not the best as its a long drive from Belfast to Blank lol.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback on Ennereilly or surrounding Wicklow Beaches.
Cheers Jonny

Re: Ennereilly Strand
South Wicklow beaches do produce. generally the Wexford beaches produce grater numbers of hounds but Wicklow hounds are normally bigger so if your after quality rather than quantity hit Ennereilly at the end of May. Keep in mind it's a big big beach with different marks along its stretch some hot and some not. There is north middle and south beaches. Pm me closer to the time your planning a trip and I'll fill you in abit better in a pm.

Re: Ennereilly Strand
Hi lads thanks for the replies, I was just going to give it a try to see what was about, long range, short range bait and abit of plugging, if they start to fish better at end of may onwards I might just wait and just get back up to Donegal to fish for Ray and then try and get as many trips down to Wicklow/ Wexford over the summer. I was looking at the maps ShaneH and there are a few parts to Ennereilly so would be good to get good advice.

Re: Ennereilly Strand
Road to Ennereilly currently closed due to roadworks, think this is due to flooding just past north beach

Re: Ennereilly Strand
Thanks for the info, I will give the Courtown beaches a try in the middle of May and right through Summer as thats where I had my success with the smoothies last year.
